All about PPP Direct

I've blogged about PPP before - see my previous post to learn all about it. This post is an extension of the services PayPerPost provide for the general public.

Note - I'm about to receive USD$26 within the month. This is no scam, cross my heart and hope to die! (stick a needle in my eye?) But yes. When I was a kid I remembered seeing a sticky that said to truly enjoy life, find something you like and someone to pay you for doing it. I certainly like writing, blogging is no hassle, and PPP is kind enough to want to pay me for writing
blog ads! What's so good about it is that I get to choose what to write about, there are no deadlines, and you earn based on how much effort you put in!

If you've read all about PPP or my blogpost, you will realise that the website itself acts as a third-party or a mediator between the blogger and the advertisor. What PPP Direct does is that it allows you to place a badge on your blog or site, and advertisors contact you directly and ask you to blog about services/goods they provide.

Why choose PPP Direct?
Unlike other services, PPP Direct only charges a 10% fee (5% of which goes towards transaction fees for PayPal).

So imagine this scenario.

You put up a badge which says an advertorial in your site will cost $100. PPP Direct charges 10% hence you still receive $90 out of that 100. Other competitors charge an average of 40 - 50% hence you only receive $50 - $60 - not exactly what I consider a fair trade, as you are the one doing most of the work after all!

So you say, why don't I just contact the advertisor myself? Well - say you do actually blog about the good/service - what's to stop the advertisor from refusing to pay you? You have effectively, in this case, wasted your time writing out an advertorial that will not be paid for whereas since this is still acted out via PPP, you get an instant sense of security!
